ADSM / Tivoli Storage Manager Knowlege Modul für BMC PATROL
CTS ADSM/TSM KM for PATROL allows administrators to monitor simultaneously multiple servers via various PATROL Agents.
Single point of view / end to end proactive monitoring of the entire functionality of the TSM server(s): Make sure that backups and recoveries run reliably without permanent and extensive attention by the staff.
Our solution provides information on every relevant function of the TSM Server such as the database, server status, backup and recovery status and failures, storage pools and libraries, nodes, drives, activity log entries and more to prevent loss of valuable data.
The ADSM/TSM KM monitors the Server-Process and the following components of the ADSM/TSM Server:
- Backup, utilization of the database and copy status of belonging volumes
- Utilization of the recovery log and copy status of belonging volumes
- Utilization and volumes
(copy status, migration, tape and pending) of the storage pool
- Filespaces on client nodes/workstations without regular backups
- Active sessions and administrative sessions
- The Activity-Log for alerts and user-defined events/alerts
- The drives configured with ADSM/TSM

The ADSM/TSM KM for PATROL has various parameters that provide statistical Information about used resources, status of the ADSM/TSM Server, backups on nodes, performance and more. - Collects parameters for the ADSM consumer parameters for all ADSM application classes

Indicates all administrative backup schedules, which are not complete

Indicates the number of hours since the last completed ADSM database backup
